Breakfast Burritos are a great alternative to a full fry up, just mix and match to achieve the perfect breakfast combo.
Quick and easy it's a simple matter of rustling up your favourite breakfast foods and folding them into a toasted burrito. Serve warm with a hot cuppa!
Ingredients (Serves 2)
4 eggs
Some hashbrowns
Chopped up sausages (choose your own favourite brand)
Crispy bacon
Shredded Cheddar cheese or your favourite cheese
2 flour tortillas (10 inch), warmed or toasted on a griddle pan
Seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika
Avocado (optional)
Your own favourite sauce the choice is your whether it's spicy salsa, tomato relish, sour cream, maple syrup, hollandaise or mayonnaise.
Cooking Instructions
1. First without adding any oil, let the bacon and or sausage cook in its fat on a skillet over medium heat. Once it is done, put the cooked pieces in paper towels, set aside then, drain about half of the excess fat.
2. Next, cook the hashbrowns using the same skillet, when cooked set aside and clean down ready for the eggs.
3. Toast your burrito on a griddle pan or frying pan until warm, add to a plate. Prepare the eggs to your preference and add to the burrito. reheat your ingredients on the pan, melt the cheese and place in the centre of your burrito, top with your favourite sauce and fold.
